ANTITRUST POLICY - The GOB (GlobalNet Oversight Board, and inclusive GlobalNet Certification Committee - GCC) is a Public Trust, a not-for-profit foundation organized with the charter to primarily protect communities and consumers. And secondary to promote, encourage and participate in product and service initiatives from America. Through its board of directors, meet at times where discussions are carried out to better convey the primary and the secondary chartered-purpose. The GOB is not intended to, and may not, play any role in any way restrict competition among signatories and bearers in any of the working activities that are in benefit of the public. 

Through its conference-meetings, presentations, educational venues, technical committee, and other activities, the GOB brings together representatives of signatories and bearers, without prejudice or intent to indoctrinate. This includes no attempt to restrain competition in any manner. For this reason, the Board of Directors takes the opportunity, through this Policy Statement, to unequivocally convey its support for the policy of competition served by the antitrust laws and its uncompromising intent to comply strictly with these laws; FTC Act, Sherman Act, Clayton Act.

Our firm commitment is to our chartered - purpose and to encourage competition. We do not join, encourage, promote, indoctrinate, condone or participate in groups, associations or activities that engage in projects or activities that operate based-monopolistic or collude to limit or eliminate competition, bid-rigging or alike practices whether openly or hidden.

It shall be the responsibility of every representative or member of the GOB and its signatories and bearers to be guided by policies, procedures and actions to our chartered - purpose. It shall be the special responsibility of the Board of Directors officers, project committees and event leaders to insure that this policy is known and adhered to in the course of our activities. To assist the GOB Board of Directors and voluntary staff and working committee officers in recognizing situations which may raise the appearance of antitrust threat or monopolistic intent. To this effect the GOB Operations Policy System (OPS) Manual and procedures provides rules for operation and administration. As a true USA based public trust we abide to antifraud, anticorruption and and antitrust laws. Antitrust compliance is the responsibility off every GOB member, and for the understanding to signatory and bearers. Any infringement - violation of the GOB OPS in matters pertaining to antitrust compliance, which this Antitrust Policy sets forth, will result in disciplinary action by the Board of Directors voting majority and may even include immediate suspension or discharge from the GOB.
